eurovox max v code update not working.

    guyz, i can't even get to the place where i can even enter a code, i've tried pressing menu but then when i get to the main menu, pressing the yellow button doesnt do anything? any suggestions.

    Hi,
    I have spent hours trying to get my euro vox back to how its used to be without having the stupid "please wait for code to update"!!!!

    After spend hours trying to find a way around browsing through many different forums i think i may have what u are looking for it worked for me and another to boxes, so lets keep our fingers crossed.

    Steps:
    Menu-
    language settings-
    enter code 1968 twice (should bring up differnt codes)
    Depending our your cable provide choose the apropriate codes.
    scroll down to whichever one t/w n*t ect.......
    press red button to input new code 00 and 01 (link at bottom)
    press blue to save and exit
    walah!!!!

    Let me know how u got on with it???

    are euro-vox and starview same codes as only got euro an ur link goes to starview cheers.Crackin up at missin footie

    Hi all my box is also saying updateing and i missed the match :(
    tried all the codes with no sucess can anyone help me plzzzzzz
    i leave in the manchester area on virgin media any help would be appriaciated

    The codes i used u see in the forum now u just need to find yr providers code try 5A01 ok gd luck

    ok cracked it here is how i did it
    press menu then click ok an lafguages and press 1968 and once again type in 1968
    then replace ALL the old codes with the new ones even if u think there not for your are i did telewest ntl and ex c&w and it worked
    I had tried pressing the yellow button in the menu and enetering codes one at a time, i figure i maybe entering the area codes etc
    thats why i decided to try this way and update them all and woot it worked missed the match though :(

    worked for me....not exactly as he said (i dint have to press 1958 twice) but i figured it out and it has worked!!!! good viewing folks

    It worked for me in Kent for V----N M----A. I did the following.
    Went to: MENU, LANGUAGE SETTINGS, PRESSED 1968 TWICE,
    Entered the latest codes given by Leslie at the very beginning of the page dated 9th April for UK in:

    I tried entering N*L codes only but didnt work. So I entered new codes for all 3 i.e. N*L, C*W, T*W by selecting a particular row using up/down arrow on remote, then pressing OK, then entering the new keys using left/right arrows. Remember to press OK after changing each character to move to the next. this will all be obvious when u start editing the codes.

    Once I changed all the keys on the first 6 lines, all channels back now!
