help needed with eurovox ex 1000 sl

hi, I received a new eurovox ex 1000 sl yesterday to work on chorus network in Ireland. I have a basic cable connection with chorus. I went through installation with code 6.875 but only get 1 channel. What am I doing wrong?

 

Have you got the latest firmware on the box, flashing guide is linked under my picture, if when you press menu, config, system info the SW version reads 21 august then it will need updating.

 

thanks for getting back to me, it does like I need to update the firmward. How do I do this? I am not very savy on this stuff

 

As above the flashing guide is under my picture, click on the (Eurovox Flashing Guide) link and follow the instructions.

 

Can someone tell me if the euro ex 1000 been cloned yet and if so how do you spot one as i have to update firmware for someone. Thanks

 

There has been no reports of any 1000 SL clones around, it is a bit early and anyway if you go ahead and flash the box successfully, then it will be okay. When you say have to update, what do you mean as there is only 1 release of firmware for that model, and it needs to be flashed to get it to provide the goods for you anyway, this is the name of firmware in Eamo's FTA Library > UFL_EX1000SL_v1-0_DarX.rar .

got a few eurovox ex 1000sl today everything fine except one tuneing quality at 8% wont find any tp,s any ideas thks

I'm using the Eurovox ex 1000 sl with Choxxs Cork but I'm having problems with the picture and sound freezing. The picture might be fine for about an hour or two and then it starts to act up freezing for a few minutes or so. Just wondering if the problem is the software that I downloaded for the box, that its not auto updating as smoothly as some other boxes. Can someone tell me if there will be any new versions of this software comming out soon that might fix this problem.

hi a just bought a eurovox1000sl and can only get the bbc itv ect..the rest come up scambled..ma box said its ready to use strait away, any tips?

 

What does it say in system info, you will find the info under config in the EV menu's.
