I wanted to set my crystal xbox up so i can play backups a friend set my xbox up so mine can but i would like to know for a hobbie, now my mate just linked his laptop to my xbox set them on a net work to see eachother then downloaded something now the whole thing must have only taken 5mins. Dead quick then tryed a backup and worked no prob he installed avalaunch in the process of the download can anyone tell me how to do this in a like step by step guide it seems really easy once you have the software on your laptop/computer. ps is there any better dashboards or how do you find/view them and the same as above but for the xbox360 or any links. But knw what you are doing because if you mess up while softmodding you can really ruin someone's xbox and have to replace it. The 360 is a whole differnt ballgame. You have to flash the DVD drive of the Xbox 360. I used to have Avalaunch on my Xbox, but had too many problems with it. I made XBMC my Dashboard, and it is working great. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to mod their Xbox.
