    Use CloneCD or Alcohol 120.

I wouldn't recommend CloneCD myself as it's plagued with blacklisting problems and to be truthful I've no idea about the stack dump error - not my area of extpertise.

As for your game let's try using ClonyXXL to find what protection it uses. It hasn't been updated in a while but it should serve our purposes here:

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Images-Utils/ClonyXXL.shtml

It'd also help to know the exact model your Sony is. Once we know what protection we're up against we can get into what settings and apps to use :)

I hope you get everything back to normal soon. If you end up reinstalling the OS then try installing A-Ray again and see what happens :)

Ok, Alcohol 120% is a good one for SafeDisc so go ahead and install the trial version then use these settings:

    Read speed 4X

    Write Speed 4X

    SafeDisc 2/3 profile

    (sorry for the late reply)
