When you get to the last page , before you click on burn, look to the left and you will see an arrow, click on it and a wing will pop out where you can set burn speed. Make sure there is a disk in the drive you are going to use first.

Ok , I don't burn DL disks, to much money, if need be i use 2 SL disks,but thats another story. What i have read in other posts about DL's is that only the verbatims are any good, the rest all have problems like you are having. And never use memorex or imatation, in any size for anything. Thats what i have read. I only use verbatim 16x burned at 8x bit set at booktype DVD-Rom so they paly in any dvd player. If you search you can find many post on this problem with DL"s What brand do you use? and do you burn slow,? like about 4x
