I want to make a video game!

    I want to make a video game and I was wondering what kind of programs I would need to do that. I need some ideas of what kind of game to make, so could you guys tell me your favorite games for NES, Sega Master System, SNES, Sega Genesis, Neo Geo, and TurboGrafx-16, and what you like about those games. Thanks for the help!

    if you want to make games, i think about the furthest you'll get without enrolling in game design courses in a college would be some kind of flash game.

    if you had done a search, you would have found some help already.
