    I think the steps are pretty thoroughly explained. As for finding your downloaded updater try downloading it to your desktop, it will be fairly easy to find then I would hope.

    LOL Lethal, I saw the bonus (Jazo123). Thank you soo much for doing this for me!

    Only problem is, a friend of mine also gave me their iPod to put this theme on it, and he said that he would like his screen name on it. It is roge2. Would there be a fast way for me to change this or is it something that you can do for me?

    Thank you soo much, though, if you ever need anything, just ask. :)

    Nah, there is no fast way. It involves changing strings in your iPod's firmware, and if not done correctly, you could very easily 'brick' your iPod. I don't mind doing it. Just tell me the theme, font, firmware and iPod model, and I'll have it done for you tomorrow..

    [edit] I don't want this stickied because stickied threads are usually ignored..

    Lethal--

    Thank you soo much!

    I just want that same theme (Red Tribal theme) and instead of it saying Jazo123 at the top (I will use the one with Jazo123 for myself) could you replace it with roge2? (for one of my buddies)

    Again thanks alot!

    Uploading Updater with "roge2" on the title bar instead of "iPod". Will post that soon. [edit] http://rapidshare.de/files/17858469/iPod_Updater_2005-11-17.exe.html

    No, I cannot.. I can only alter themes to suit different firmware versions, not different iPod models..

    Have a look here, I am sure there are many iPod nano themes that you will like ;-) [bold]http://www.ipodwizard.net/forumdisplay.php?f=91

    Lethal -

    Reffering back to your first post on how to change the graphic on your ipod, who do i know what number picture does or looks like what?
    For example, pic249 is the stopwatch picture. How do I know what picture is what. Like what number is the Title Bar picture.
    I want to know this because I'm trying to mod my iPod also
    Thanks

    No worries, jazo.

    frostybw, as you seem to be having problems..

    [bold]Pick an available theme here[/bold];
    http://www.ipodwizard.net/forumdisplay.php?f=91
    (link me to the page it is on..

    [bold]Pick a font style[/bold];
    (eg Comic Sans MS, Times New Roman, and so on)

    [bold]Finally[/bold];
    Tell me what you want to replace the 'iPod' text on the title bar, e.g 'Frosty'..(note, it can be no more that 7 letters long)

    If you provide me with this info, I'll put it on an Updater for you and Upload it for you as I did with jazo..

    The nano doesn't support Open Type Fonts (OTF).

    Just click 'Make fonts', and you should be able to change the font. Try and keep the writing small though (<10), otherwise it will be too big, and you will not be able to see whole letters.

    Next tutorial buddy...

    I will first do a tutorial on how to change the 'iPod' text on the title bar, and then I will do one to give you an idea of how they actually work.

    Hex codes aren't something to be freely messed with. ;-)
