Finally got the PM. I wonder what took it so long. As for being banned at Hounds, that won't happen unless a person does something at Hounds that deserves it. We don't let things that happen on other forums effect the administration of Hounds. We don't ban members unless they flagrantly break the rules after having been warned.

I don't ban people easily, I think that you'll find your account still open. I prefer to build bridges, not tear them down. I suppose we all post things that we would like to retract using hindsight. The issue is dead.

That mirrors my sentiment on the situation as well.

andmerr check your inbox, take care not to rush a judgement in the future.

I still wonder about the "immature arseholish" nature you speak of and don't wonder if there is some other reason you would venture to take a poke @ us (unwarranted) I'm sure that alot of people reading/monitoring this thread right now know that it takes some work to maintain a forum and not something that anyone takes lightly.

    *sigh*

@brobear...this thread seems to have taken a freudian turn for the sphincteral; a peculiar and circular fixation that goes round and round without end culminating in an explosive situation. Don't take off brobear; I will miss our pleasantries in the midst of such bizarre conversations.

    - my bitch is that i spend enough time playing a surrogate father role for the kiddiewinks round the forums without reading all the crap that goes on between some non-console forum posters. If i'm being deliberately vague it's because I don't want or need to name names, i just want to see it bloody stopping as it's getting really stale; i frequent (not as much as here at AD i admit) technical forums relating to my boring technical job and whilst some 'action' on those forums would i dare say liven up the content of those forums a little, one of the reasons i spend so much time here is the atmosphere ie so many ppl can participate in threads (for the most part) without breaking noses and rubbing each other up the wrong way..

I believe that the issue has already been resolved, and I might add in a very mature manner. There was no continuous back and forth mud slinging by anyone, there was only a couple statements, one offensive and one defensive and nothing more. Conflict is going to arise on any venue that involves great numbers of people. The real test isn't that a slur was made or responded to but that a single slur and response was enough to end the conflict.:)

Okay my bitch, what is with this rash of AnyDVD bashing that has started recently, the latest being

    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/331093#1944616

Nobody here has anything to do with the company. Yes we recommend the program and the user gets a free trial to see how the program works. Why is it when they develop problems, which are more than likely caused between chair and keyboard, do they dump on this forum.

I have a bitch....Today my brother was admitted to Children's Hospital Of Philladephia waiting for a heart.....Ironically as it sounds, this June I had a heart transplant..........So now i have to talk to him about it....And how its going to be..........
It's a weird thought that me and my brother are going to have somebody's heart for the rest of our lives

    It just plain sucks

so i will probubly check in here and there but won't be on AD as much

Though not a transplant, my wife had heart surgery not long ago. It's definitely a trying experience with a loved one in danger. I have no idea of what it must be like to be a heart recipient. I can only wish you and your family the best. Vaya Con Dios.

I too had heart surgery, a triple bypass, and it does change your perspective on things. One of those being life itself, you have to keep a positive outlook and remember how much you are loved by those around you. It is because you love your brother that you will find the right words to tell him now. Good luck to you both :)

Hope your wife is doing good!
You just have to take certain percautions the first six months because of infection and the medicine lowers immune system making you get sick very easilly and harder to get rid of..
Today actually i had my Annual biopsy and Right heart catherization(pretty sore actually..LOL)

Edit: @ arniebear....Hope you are doing good and i learned to take life seriously and becareful and do everything your doctor says......

Keep a good perspective on life.........

The audacity of spending $12.00 to have a computer brings the shivers out.te he your a great guy and love your posts Chris
