   Can I fit a movie over 2 hrs. on a 4.7GB disc?

   You have to compress the movie. I'm assuming you're wanting to backup a commericial DVD, since you didn't specify. Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/74599 scroll down to about midway and there is a great tutorial on how to backup your DVDs.
