Hi, most ripping software can convert to either mpeg 1 vcd mpeg 2 svcd avi divx as i work with premiere i can export with media encoder to mpeg1 vcd mpeg2 svcd mpeg2 dvd stream so a mpeg2 svcd stream is not a real dvd stream also when i import mpeg2 svcd into dvd lab the program says it is not a true dvd stream now my question , 1-what is the diffirence of a mpeg2 svcd and a mpeg2 dvd stream 2-is there a software program that rips directly to a mpeg2 dvd stream i tried almost every program always mpeg2 svcd regards fred.....
