NEW Eurovox EX1000 SL Released Today.

I know very little about these boxes but I do know there has been a new Firmware brought out for the 29-08-08, Yours probably has the FTA firmware installed, I will not give out the firmware location until Sc0user can verify its working fine but that is what I THINK your problem is. once you have installed the new firmware you will get all your channels and Emm will be set to enable automatically as are the other latest models..

 

Yeah i used the the firmware which only gives you PPV when i loaded the other firmware "Darx they all came on fine..

does the new firmware enable you to view the emm cap menu also if it does is it set to enable automatically?

 

No you can't view the EMM Capture menu but it is automatically enabled

Cheers mate You can if you like. I have only played with it since yesterday, but the firmware is fine. Nice compact box looks well in the bedroom. Still has the EPG 1 hour problem in Ireland, but thats easy to fix LOL.

 

Morning people!! i have been reviewing all the boxes and am still puzzled with all conflicting reviews. i am a simple semi honest fellow who simply wishes to catch the sly sports footy and a few channels to keep her in doors quiet. could somebody please advise me on which box is most suitable, with minimal setup as i am not to pc literate,which has a decent lifespan so no fecking around every week. thanks so much for reading this. slicklipz

 

The Eurovox Ex500 PVR(You can pause live tv and record) or the Eurovox EX1000 SL are both good boxes and once set up properly don't require any updating codes etc.
Before you buy either make sur the signal you are recieving is not an MMDS(mainly in rural parts of Ireland) signal as you will the Eurovox TX.

Who is your cable provider?

If you are with s*y, there is no point in getting a box, because the boxes will not work on their system.

All around the £85 mark plus P&P on fleabay, most of them come unflashed and without leads.

Price drop here though.

 

so purchase the box, buy a null moden cable. is there anything else i need?
