NO CHANNELS AT ALL - HELP PLEASE

As I have said on this thread they have moved channel frequencies all over the shop in Birmingham. Do a factory reset and rescan and you'll have your channels back.

 

I have St*rvi*w 4 and am in Birmingham ,have done a factory reset and rescan (and turned key code on )but still dont have many channels , any advice please

 

remove any splitters if your using one, connect the cable direct to the box, reset and scan again and keep doing it (reset and re-scan) till they come back, thats the only to get them back, its been covered already in this thread. There is no other fix or way to get them back,

 

I have managed to get my Starview 1 back on and running, struggling with the Dreambo 500c though. have factory reset it and scanned but it wont let me enter the new keys...I have gone to VAR/KEYS/KEYLIST.txt and its blank and wont let me enter any.....please advise! Thanks

 

Download an image from my signature that contains autoroll. One of the latest ones, then reflash.

Do I have to connect it to the PC to get it going again?

 

Will my box need to be plugged into my PC to get it going again? Also, what am I looking at in the link, its a blank page!

 

Am I mising something mate, no link anywhere?

There seems to be a problem with the library so may have t hold off on that for a few minutes. Did you hae a look at the other thread I linked to mate?

I got it going....But LOADS of channels missing!

 

Actually the image I uploaded won't work for you as it's only for Ireland. cgscott has uploaded one here though so download his and reflash your box. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/32/647188

 

Might take a few scans to get it all going again mate.

And don't forget to do the scan while main cable is going straight into box, no splitters!

 

Thanks for all you help with sorting this out. The dreambox is now as good as can be although some channels keep freezing.

The bigger problem is the Starview 1 box, which will not pick up Sky Sports 1 or Skysports 3...........can you help with this?

I have done scan after scan after scan.

nothing you do, when cards are recd, thats the signal that your chans will start going

 

My dreambox doesnt take a card.
