pc sound system questions

    can i make a really loud sound system hooked up to my computer?
    what would i need to do that?
    would it have extreme bass like a car stereo?

    yep. Just think of your computer as a "CD Player". Now go buy the stereo, the speakers, the large amp, and bass box you want. That is it.

    Hook your computer's "LINE OUT" to the Stereo's "LINE IN" and you done.

    I recommend winamp (www.winamp.com) as your software to act as your jukebox.

    so i just use a home system and put the input from my comp to the stereo?

    yep. The only thing I would recommend, is install a noise filter. If you hook everything up, and turn the volume down on your stereo, and hear a low humming noise, install the filter, if not, your good.

    my speakers have little plugs on the back they look like cable plugs but they kinda look like input plugs
