Hope someone can help, my computer crashed and when i restarted it it just wont come back on at all. I keep getting check signal cable message come up. The lights on my tower are on and ive tried 3 different monitors and it keeps saying the same thing, so it seems to be the tower although the power is going to that because the lights on the tower are on, ive checked all the cables. I hope someone here can help.

    thanks

open it see if any little or big cables might have unplugged.
Does it allow you to get to the Bios?

Ive had a look inside and i cant see anything loose but the tower must be working because the router thats connected to it is still sending the signal to this computer upstairs.

    Any suggestion are much appreciated
    thanks again

Check the cable between your monitor and video card. It must be loose.

does it appear to be going thru it's boot sequence but just nothing on the screen? try reseating the videocard or try another videocard even a pci version just to see if works or not.

Its not doing anything, when i switch it on the lights on the tower come on but a message on the monitor says check signal cable, now ive tried 3 different monitors with 3 different cables and it keeps doing the same thing, its as if theres nothing going thru to the monitor.
