6875 is chor*s, 6887 is n*l. What firmware is on the box, is it 910?

Are you getting any channels at all? Can you see the free to air ones?

If it is a brand new box it most likely won't have the 910 on it. In which case you will be able to see Rte for example, but not movie channels etc. You will need a null modem cable and will need to flash the box. All the instructions are in this thread.

Is it a replay lite or a replay pvr - can it record? If it is a pvr it will need 913, if an ordinary replay lite 910.

This is an old post so the links in it aren't working any more, go to the following link and get 910 in Eamo's library.

Thanks evastar for your help. whe i did an auto search on 6875 i got 160 channels or so but they were scrambled with the heading NA scrambled.... if i change the rate to 6887 for N*L do you think i will be able to see any channels i cant even see free to air at the moment. i dont know to much about flashing the box what does flashing the box mean? sorry for all the really dumb questions....

Ok press menu, go to utility, press on receiver information you will see sw and some numbers after it, what are the numbers?

If you are getting channels in on 6875 that means you are chor*s not n*l. So don't scan on 6887. Just check what the menu says and come back to me.
