rip dvd to an iso?

    can i rip a dvd to an iso on mac? okay, the hd on the mac is very small, so i want to copy it the hd of my 20 gig mp3 player instead is this okay?

    Well, I don't really know of any rippers that extract to .ISO But
    if you get Osex you can extract a disk image (.img or .dmg).
    But you really need a compressor like dvd2onex or
    DVDRemaster. Try reading the Rip/Compress/Burn guide.
    Oh and ripping to your mp3 player is fine, but if it is usb1.1 it
    could slow the ripping process down a bit.
