I am trying to rip a DVD, but MactheRipper is telling me the disc size is 28.8 GB! How is that possible? Just some disc protection? How do I get around it?

Use dvd shrink or anydvd. That's what I use, 28 gigs is bs, dvd5 only holds 4.7 gigs, and dvd 9 can hold around 8 I think. Blu-Ray on the other hand holds like 20 gigs. Just curious, what dvd is it?

Your ripper/decrypter might not be able to handle it, t reads a lot of dummy files.
