I recently bought Half-Life 2 for my PC, only to realize I'd bought a DVD, I have no DVD player on my PC....so I figured I'd rip the DVD onto this Powerbook, and then send it through the network down to my PC.

So we're not talking about a movie here. I need an image in some format the PC can read. I've searched the internet and found nothing. Incredible. There simply MUST be some sort of a DVD data ripper for the macintosh SOMEWHERE on the net.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks.

If there isn't any funky protection on it you can make an image file with toast.
