I am trying to back up 'Mad Max' and I get a rpc error , through ANYdvd, saying that my Plextor 760A is locked. according to my the drive properrties my drive is set for RPC1. It clearly indicates on the DVD that it is a RPC1. I have tried also unsucessfully with DVD Decryptor & DVD Shrink to back up the movie. With these programs I get a cyclic redundancy error or and unable to read file error. Any ideas how I should go about this?
    I am using AnyDVD v6.1.0.7

Just saying mad max makes me feel young again...LOL It's difficult to think after all this time they'd put serious encrytion on it?

Usually, CYCLIC REDUNDANCY is due to dirt/smuges on the dvd surface. Use quality media also, check out this link (thanks to bubbles) to see where yours may be on the list.
