thanks for that fergusrb but when i scroll thru providers tele*** doesnt appear.seems to be the only one that doesnt. any ideas?

provider id is Telewest 5A01 enter it manually

Hi, I am totally new to all of this, but i can see that i am not alone. I have tried evrything i can see here. All i have is either Scrambled or Bad channel or else Data is being updated, please wait, 10%,30%....200%. This is driving the kids mad. Can anyone help me get this fixed.

 

To everybody - thanks for all the help - the remaining "missing" channels came back by themselves yesterday??

can anyone help please. i have a starview plugged into ntl and recieve a lot of channels but no sky sports and movies etc. a friend of mine on the other side of town took my box and tried it at his house, the result was 330 channels with all the sky sports. i then plugged back in at home and can see all the channels on the menu , but sky sports etc comes up with no signal or scrambled bad channel. any ideas please
