starview box

hiya can u help me ive got gtrom4 file an genuine only zip file. wen i use gtrom4 file it says in on stb settings then stb model it says gcr3510 is that correct but wen i click on bin file use genuine zip file its says model name does not correct wat do i do this will b me 1st time at this so i need help just guiding really hope use can help me cheers ppl

lads just some info if you can help? i have a starview box and it says super on it is this starview 3?? i have no trouble with it so far and i have a chance of taking 40 off a bloke for a good price,do you think it is worth it or will i get hastle from them??

It is the latest and known as Starview 3, regards hassle, can't answer that - there has only been two release's of firmware to date and the latest is 6.01eE, All I can say is there seems to be pretty fair ammount of suppliers offloading the box cheaply.

I have the box and lost all channels, do I need to do a reset or wait. when I went into the cas system menu, then Nagravision T;"$west ain't there anymore? foncused?

please please can someone help me. my friend falshed her starview with gryptstar 4 genuine it worked perfect no prob. she just did mine and when i plugged it back on it said no signal then it stuck between main menu and language, i did a factory reset but to no avail, can someone advise me please

 

malaci, my pal carrie36 posted a question is there any chance you can help us out, we are at a total loss.

 

carrie,
make sure the coaxial cable is in "cable input" at the back of the b0x. also make sure the scart lead is in the TV slot.
to get out of language, try this
English > installation
choose provider
auto scan
Press ok
channels found
Exit Press MENU > 1570
Turn EMU on
exit exit exit

Im taking your advice but when im doing the auto scan its freezing, any ideas, thanx

 

can anyone help, during an auto scan my box is freezing, its stuck in language and im trying to get out by doimg scan but as i said its freexing at 12%. this is only happening since i flashed my box

 

Did you turn off the b0x whan you did a factory reset?
if not, try another factory reset.
Menu > factory setting
pin 0000
OK to Delete

TURN OFF THE B0X AT THE BACK FOR A MINUTE THEN TURN BACK ON

english installation
choose provider
autoscan
press ok
channels found
exit
menu > 1570
turn EMU on
go to "Set Default Key" press OK
Exit back out to s*y sports & see if it updates.

Carrie, good evening.. you say you and your friend both flashed boxes at the same time ,one is working one is not!, will you count the vents on top of your one and compere with hers, and get back!
