Starview channels

Can anyone help me.. have a couple of the boxs.. one of them is only scanning in 10 channels but its scanning them in 19 times each. I have reset the factory settings and started again from scratch but again i'm getting the same 10 channels 19 times.. All the other boxs i have are fine.. dublin 16 area ntl network

Hope you are well.

I am missing a few channels. ITV4, Five, More 4 and More 4+1. I have tried to do a manual scan by inputting the freq i.e for More 4 i put in 523.000 in the freq section.. i dont get anything..

what am i doing wrong.. i have also tried a complete scan a few times, i still dont pick up these channels.

please help

hi fergus my starview usualy changes its self but hasnt done so now. have tried the new codes both ways and not working.any ideas

 

Multiroll just press your default key it may be stuck in a loop.

 

Check your numbers again ok

Oh dear lord help us all!!!
came home from work and all my uk channels are gone!!! all i have is the crappy irish stations.

It just says scrambled or bad channel.

I did a factory restore and re scanned the whole thing and it says 187 channels found but as i say their gone!

Have n*l finally cracked us???? Please god now!

Would appreciate your expertise advice guys..............

Codes have changed check here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363 and make sure your key emu is on, press menu 1570 and check it. I presume you have a SV that doesnt update the codes?

 

Read back over the page and you will see that is not to hard is it

we have two boxes, both are the newer version that normally find the codes themselves but today it didn;t come back after i waited half an hour. So i read your comments an one guy said to do a factory reset. Done this and scanned in 187 channels but no of them (bar boring irish channels) are working.

Did N*l do something?

 

press menu - type 1570 on the remote - scroll down to EMU and turn it on and press exit then exit again, go to a channel with a $ beside it and let it update. If the EMU is already on, press the Defualt Key and exit and exit again. If your box updated before, this will kick start it.

 

im in dublin and im having the same problem...did the new codes...did the factory reset...did the default key which was a new one for me but no joy.has anyone the same problem and had any success?
