STARVIEW PROBLEMS - ***NO CODES HERE ANYMORE***

i have the up date but both laptops and pc only have 15 to nine cable ports. any ideas how i can up date? need help lads

 

And not a mention of the heatshink on the processor???

Looking at the back of the box scart is on RHS (genuine)? but in contradiction there are only 18 vents (clone)?

Seems like one for and one against at the moment! Can you shed any more light?

Use a USB to RS232 adapter or Serial PCI card in conjunction with a null modem cable or better still use/borrow a standalone PC this will have the required D9 port.

 

i have a stand alone pc, is the connection female to female, i have a 25 to 9 on the pc and i have the cable will tis work. or do you know where i can get both for the laptop. thanks in advance sc0user

 

@ kingwisp you can PM one of the addicts or Snr members if you want 100% confirmation.

 

DB25 to DB9 is probably your printer connection a null modem cable is required DB9 female to female from your 9 way serial port on your pc to the 9 way port on the back of the box.

Thats nearly as old as me But is quite good, Dobby's place also has info as does Eamos FTA Library. But the only definitive way to tell is by the heatshink on the CPU.

Hey lads, i hav a chorus box but when i tried to update the codes last night chorus was gone from my key provider. NTL and the rest are still there. Any idea how this happened and how i can get chorus back as an option?? Someone please help me!! thanks

the past couple of days my box has gone the codes work but the sound wont come back anybody else having this trouble..?
