m8 , i was away for half hour. I see problem sorted now.

 

yea u will need a jtag, but this means opening up box and getting a soldering kit out !

it was a strange one thats beeen going on since early, but between noel, Malci and myself we got it sorted (kindof)
if you get a chance have a look at it if nothing else it was a learning proccess

Lol , that was a long winded one for yis.. well done anyway.
seems to me that it could have been all down to bad flashing with some even worse files/software.
All it takes is something tiny to corrupt the file and then it starts acting up.

When u can only go into 'language' after a flash, it it because there is nowt on the box ( i know yis know this already lol)

Its just one of those things i think.. reflash relash, change firmware/sortware.. then make sure its scanning the right providers.
I wonder is she on border of different providers ?

does anyone know if a version like starview 3 (the box super) that automatically sorts channels will be released for starview 2 (the box)?
just wondering as some boxes have the auto channel sort so people know the right number and order.

Just set the default button on the main menu and this will check to see if it autorolls for you.

code is 0000 on my starview channel editor.

also note when you do an automatic scan you will lose your saved channel locations.

Thanks for all the new keys you keep on updating. I checked my starview box and it is actually a clone. I know there are updates released for this but has some one tried them? I dont my starview box to die so want to be 100% sure before putting the update. Also are there many types of clones?

 

Also i have confirmed from Clone or Not.html that mine is clone for which i am 99% sure..have few doubts thoug.. may be someone can help

1. First check the back does it look like one of these?
Ans : COPY

2. Ok next check remote
Ans : I have the second remote which is marked as Latest Remote

3. last is close up of the clone board chip to the left of cpu.
Ans : I have three lines as shown in the final pic
