Starview receiver problem

my verison is 4.00, menu works, tried entering the codes and did a re-scan but still nothing at at all. Any other ideas. Cheers

 

go to main menu press 1570 and turn key emu on

 

yeh that is already on, if i do a factory reset, does that mean that the firmware that i have just updated gets erased.

 

hi shahan, im just wondering are u not using a scart lead, this gives a better connection ?

 

Hi there, i am using a scart connection, and just the N** cable plugged into the cable input of my box, updated the firmware to 4.00, i have a genuine starview 2 box using the 7*25 vent format. I cant see where im going wrong, tried everything, numerous codes the right way but still no channels.

 

its connected up ok. what are u seeing on screen now ?

Im seeing the main menu right now, all connections seem fine, i would of thought id recieve at least some channels. If i dont input the right codes, does that mean i wont recieve anything at all?

 

you could put a channel dump on your box that might work.

 

anyone help me im stuck on language and cant install my box any ideas wats wrong

 

press ok to pick your language then do a channel scan.

 

also dont forget your codes and to switch your emu back on

 

hi can anyone tell me how to fix my box. on certain channels like sky sports 2, extra, kerrang, more four and sky premiere the reception is quite poor as oppose to the other channels which are all prefect. the channels with the dodgy reception are of a certain khz. mainly 427000khz and 363000khz. also could anyone tell me how to hook up a second box if i wanted to in the same house please. i only have one cable feed. thanks 4 any help

 

maybe try a manual scan to get the bad ones in.
menu, installation, manual scan, downfrequency .
u can use a splitter to use the other box but the quality may not be as good..
