STARVIEW UPDATING FIRMWARE - NO CODE BEGGING HERE

Try a manual scan on 131.000

 

i downloaded 800e off eamos library the other day but it also downloaded 800e-1. does anyone know what thats about?

 

Hi Guys,

First time user, living in Waterford have updated the version 8.0e_E, turned in EMU, went to channels didn't go no further than 0% percent. I have downloaded the Waterford bin file via here;

It downloaded as a VLC file, need help on how to get from my PC to the box itself. Any ideas, really apprectiate it

To do a Manual Scan on 1 individual frequency on the Starview.
Menu - Installation OK and go down to Manual Scan OK and then enter the frequency in Down Frequency via keypad direct, for instance 131000 and then press OK and it will scan on that frequency alone. It will then show you how many channels where found on that frequency, (channels should appear at the end of your listing) it is easier to exit back to main Menu and re-order your channels and if neccessary delete any non working or duplicate channels.

 

It didn't download as VLC file, you have assigned VLC on your PC to open this file type (Bin) which is why it shows as a VLC.

Use the loader in the starview 3 section of emaos for you box and click on the Channel Data File in the STB settings on the loader, Hit the Bin File button and select it fom your PC to where ever you saved it,connect your box and then click the Download button.

Just to add V7.09 if in Ireland V8.00 for the UK.

 

tried manual scan on 131,000 but sky 1 still not found

found the files in eamos libarey in the file the box super
usb.. noticed a file ,the software to record files,

should this be downloaded? any help please thks

hi all
absolutely stupid question, but a friends child has just reset to factory settings, does this mean that it has to be reflashed,if so any location for the correct files, and are the instructions on page 1 of this thread still the most valid. the box is not a machine that i have any knowledge of.emptyhell ireland dublin..

Wheelo .. you dont need to reflash it...
simply press menu, then installations highlight N*L then press autoscan.. when finnished, press exit, exit goes back to menu press 1570 then turn the emu on exit back to the channels go to sly sports and it will click in!!

5forkeeps some people have been having lazy updates goto s** sports and see if it helps or switch box of at back and back on and see if it helps.
