    So do you think it could be the cable as mine is only a RS232 and I need a Null Modem cable? Whats the difference?

    If you are using the cable from PC without the need of an adaptor then it is a straight through serial type and not a NULL MODEM if it does not recognise the box, check here courtesy of HiTeck >>

    hey guys noobie here...lol....i got the "box t" today and when i installed it only rte1 is running and the rest of the channels say "scrambled or bad channel" any help for a technological dummy???thanks

    Is the volume turned up on the starview and the TV ??
    check the connections are pushed in fully!!

    i tried flash my box box but it just has dl on the display. nothing else will happen

    Can you press menu and then system info and tell us what it says!!

    its the box super. i dont no what firmware. i made a mistake when i flashed it. the bin file slot was empty in the gtrom and i flashed without realising

    thanks bud. managed to get box to actually turn on. scanned for channels got 179 but turned on emu and tried updating but stuck on 0%

    Turn the box off for a minute or two, turn back on and go to sly sports and it should click in!
