Ok, I think I'll clarify this a small bit more. The main reason why I'm giving up as a mod is because for about the last year ive been waking up to PM's telling me something is going on on the forum. My daily posting on the forum turned into just defending users mostly. Its not easy when all this crap piles up on you and you know if you dont get on aD toay, tomorrow will be even worse. My life was affected by the massive rise in problems here, and I dont blame anyone who was PM'ing me about it - I was the mod to PM about, It's my job on the forum to attemp to clear shit up when it happens but those who know what REALLY was happening know I didnt have it that easy at all. I'm stepping down as mod for the good of my health more than anything else. Life is more than a forum lol and I have to focus on whats really important to me now. Those of you who know me the best know that lately everything has breen a stuggle to me moderating the forum wasnt helping. The trouble affecting my posting BADLY!! very very badly and I'd like to appologise to ALL the users who I answered a thread to and then probably disappeared without following up on advice but please understand it was too hard to devote that much time when 95% of my time on the froum was trying to clear stuff up. I have done nothing but try to make peace and quiet here for every user but some users just made that job damn near impossible for me. My Afterdawn days ARENT over at all, I just dont want to use the forum. I'll keep submitting guides, answering PM's about my guides, and maybe, just maybe the odd question here and there related to my guides. Cyprien, Allowing you to quit the forum would be dumb man, I mean look at that brain you have! lol Just read over my reasons for dropping the whole mod thing and realise there's no reason to quit, as I said the main reason for it is my own health! I dont want to be losing sleep anymore over aD forums (and those who know me know I barely sleep sometimes). On another note, I'd like to applaud Ketola on claifying the piracy rules, and guess what, they seem to be exactly as I was saying them.. If you see someone bitching at a newbie or any user here at Afterdawn for something on those rules that says PERMITTED, then report that post as offensive, because thats the main shit this forum NEEDS to break down. As for those who seem to be making this forum hard for all, keep reporting their offensive posts, dont allow them to spin in their replies, OR more importantly, try to make your replies look like crap, report that shit too. Afterdawn lost its aspect of respect from user to user and it could really do with that being built up. I'm still here by the way You can PM me anytime, I'll always answer PM's or better yet, come and talk to me directly on IRC, even though I wont be a mod, I can still help you by giving you advice on what to do if you have problems here with users or whatever. I also will be still passing idea's onto the Admins that I think of, if you have anything that you think would be a good idea, PM me and I'll pass YOUR suggestion straight on as soon as I can. When I say quitting forum, I mean I wont be posting and answering questions like before but it's no biggy, there's so many users here that are very intelligent and that's nice to see in a forum Anyway's, I just wanted to make sure everyone is clear on my decison And there should be NO reason for anybody else to say they are gonna quit over it, dont make me feel like I am doing something wrong, thats all i ask Ciao P.S. - I'll be posting on probably safety valve threads mostly until I reach 10,000, then we can all go out for a drink eh?
i still say its not fair.... lets hope there wont be a new mod.... guess ill have to cut my vacation.... ill leave in the morning.... ill be home after like 12 hours or so... and i finaly did some research on cable modems... so i should uncap it now w/o any problem...

Wow, after all I have done for this Forum and still there is this presence of evil that has built up since I have been away. Even the president has called me in to discuss this. After talking for an hour, here is what he said. Evil doers are here on this forum. We can not let them prevail. I propose this: In the spirit of all that is right, it is high time that we make these evil doers evil diders. I know these are strong words from the president and yes maybe the words are phrased akwardly. but I think he is right. We must invade the afterdawn server and destroy all accounts that are evil. Who's with me!! Come on now. We have to Rally together on this. Don't be silent. Somebody say something. Okay well I guess maybe this isn't going to work but damn it something has to work. You know if you get up to ten thousand posts afterdawn should give you your own sister forum to this one. Now I know what you are thinking, Phantom only has made a little over a hundred posts isn't it a bit early for him to be pushing for his own forum. Well, I am here to tell you that it could happen. The rate that I am going fifteen years or so from now I will be there. And don't think it's a stretch. I really think I could do it. But in the meantime this great reward should be given to Dela. Ten thousand posts! That's like huge. Let me put this in perspective for you. That's like one of my posts for every one thousand of Dela's posts. Think about it. This is huge folks. I mean literally this forum should be named AfterDela instead of AfterDawn. Like the double meaning of how that sentance was phrased. I thought it appropriatly defines the contributions Dela has made. One things for sure, the loss of Dela leaves this forum on broken wings. It will be like the stock market crash. People will wonder will it ever be the same again. Children will be running in the streets without parents. Hamsters will stop having litters, Birds will stop regurgitating their food for their young to eat, Lotus and Lamberguini will stop making cars, and so on and so forth and so on until everyone on earth will not even know how to burn a CD. Maybe after fifteen or so years it might come back, but even then, no one will ever be able to replace Dela. One things for sure this forum has changed a lot since I have been a member these past few years. I can remember when it was just saying its first words and then when it began learning how to crawl, play dead and roll over. Ah Dela was a patient father. He kept working with it until it could stand and then walk. So I ask you why. Why must this forum be full of turmoil in places. See where this is getting us. Tell me is it worth it? Is it! I leave you with these words in hopes that it will put in perspective this great tragidy that has come upon us. Don't cry my little ones. History will show the sacrifice of Dela and others here who will now move on to another world. We must be strong inside. That's what Dela would want. That's what Darth would want. Dela even though i have not had that many dealings with yourself and cozza you have always helped when our paths have crossed.I will be sad not to hear from use guy's and you will both be a loss to the forum.Also thank you for the link you have provided on the piracy rules as it is quite clear i was not totally up to speed on this.I will keep a look out for some more of your good guides and hopefully you will change your mind in the near future once you have had a break and come back to AD and not just for your guides.Cozza respect man you have been awsome i need say no more John179
