I am in Ireland. Yeh have my time settings correct, its back working again at the moment, will see if it goes again and get back on if it does.
This is actually quite common... you will usually find that all channel info is usually removed when the box is switched off and even sometimes when just in standby. If you leave the box on long enough you will see that the channels eventually auto-populate the info sections.
Lads, you'll have to excuse my ignorance. My problem has been discussed on threads but cannot see it mentioned specifically to Eurovox EX5000 PVR. Having completed my scan, the majority of the channels will not display and simply says "scrambled channel" Any help out there for a novice? Cheers
JD50 You have the free to air Firrmware installed, Click on the eurovox updating link below my picture and follow the guide on how to flash your box.
Hi, Does anyone know if i can copy my Channels.cdf file from my Eurovox Max V 2008 to my new Eurovox EX5000 PVR or will that screw it up? Thanks, Mike.
HiTeck mate, any idea about this freq ? >> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/707036 Cheers.
Right..... I am still having issues here - I rescanned - turning off autosort - then go to reload my channel guide no probs - just wemt to update channels and it sorted them again - went back into settings and autosort has switched itself on again... Other than having to rescan to get to the autosort option, is there any other way to turn this bl**dy thing odf - this is getting silly!!!
Stevo The Hdd will always say no Hdd untill it has a recording on it. The fastest way to record is to press the pause button. Once you have recorded something on the pvr the msg will dissapear. Also if you delete the recording the msg will reappear.
Hey Guys I have the box super at the moment but am thinking of getting the eurovox PVR just wanna know if this is acutally a superior box besides the PVR function also does this box auto update codes??? Cheers
My hard disk has been working fine for last few months - and has just stopped - its 50% or so full of stuff!!! Came down this morning to find it giving this error message
Sorted out my HD failure... Just in case it happens to anybody else... I was receiving the error message cannot record no hard disk present... My kids had pressed pause and not turned it off - and hence it had filled up the whole hard disk... Something to be carefl of in the future... As for my other problem... I am going to rescan all channels and modify the channels into my favs again with autosort off as it keeps reactivating on mine every time I have to update a channel... Anybody know the frequencies for Telewest croydon area, as when I scanned a minute ago all i got was 10 channels.. also will there be a new version of software available soon ?
Right well I have given up trying to arrange sorting my channels and will go with the "favourites" option... Now does anybody else have the problem where bbc shows up in the channels but wont show up in the favs under tv channels... I have tried connecting it to my PC via flash loader program and attempting to edit there... I right clik on bbc 1 or bbc 2 both have show that they are in favs under tv channels as they are greyed out - I can add it to another fav no problem but the second I attempt to delete from tv channels it errors that the DNUpman MFc application has encountered a problem and shuts down? any know why this might be - cant get it to show up for love nor money
I would also like to know how to turn off Autosort, without rescanning: I sometimes have to do a Channel update, but doing this upsets all my favorite. Any idea how to disable autosort?
You need to delete the CDF you have uploaded to your PC and do a Factory default on your box, once thats done you do a powerscan before 6:40pm and it will pick up BBC1 and place it as your Popular ch1 and not CBBBC or maybe BBC Three, I have had the same problem before you just need to do a powerscan at the right time of day, after that you can then upload your CDF to your PC and edit away
