The square icon that wiggles all across the screen

There is an icon of 9 small squares which start out on the the top right corner of my picture screen on a few of my newer divx movies. It wouldn't bother me if it stayed there but as soon as I hit play it starts wiggling all across the screen and in front of the picture which gets kind of anoying after awhile. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
