I've owned my modded PS2 slim for about 5 years. I guess the laser is worn down on it and im not sure if its cheaper to have someone replace the laser or just buy a new console altogether. If anyone here does both, let me know which you could do for less, and ill go that route. I only would need a replacement console itself, I have power supply, controllers etc. Otherwise, if someone can replace the laser for me, that should fix the problem too. Let me know. I have paypal. i've got a fat PS2 SCPH-39001... its not modded but i can throw in some swap magic if your interested, im only asking 65 bucks with shipping. Edit: i recently replaced the laser assembly in this one about 2 years ago.
