      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I own an old Pioneer SA-410 amp that works perfectly with anything I usually connect to it.When I try to connect a &quot;newer&quot;? plastic covered Pioneer turntable PL-Z93 it immediately starts to hum,even without power being supplied to the turntable.It runs off a 12v power supply,so has a jack rather than a mains plug (turntable).I&#039;ve cut the jack off &amp; spliced a 12v 500ma trannsformer onto it but the hum is constant even without power to the turntable.I&#039;m sure it has something to do with the...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hi everyone. I&#039;m, not tech-savvy so please be kind.I&#039;m now running into major problems with receiving audio. My projector only has a 3.5 mm audio out and 2 HDMI with which 1 is used for the fire stick and my amp/home theatre has optical,1 HDMI out and left/right (red, white)AUX. I have tried these combinations below with no success. Ideally I would like to run the fire stick through the amp, then amp to the projector . Can anyone help educate this old man, please.<br />

I moved to a new place so i had to unhook my stereo system, when i hooked it up again I am not getting any sound from my speakers,  I am getting sound from my TV speakers<br />
I hooked the RCA red and white cable up, one end to the receiver AUX and the other end to the audio out of the TV, i have a Yamaha RX396 and a Toshiba 40 inch TV <br />

I have my blueray player (which I also use for CDs) connected in this manner and the sound is awesome.
