A Video Card with audio/video inputs would allow you to capture from a VCR but it seems Dazzle has different levels of abilities in this area too. I'm not very experienced with it myself but tried looking for some information on these boards and here's a few posts that had references to what you are looking for.

The last one says on this board there is an article about capturing music videos with some information on video capture devices but who knows how old that information may be?

Also I have a couple friends doing what you want and they both use the ATI All-in-Wonder 128 Pro video card but what you want really depends on your PC, the OS, the resolutions you want to capture at, the output ports you have on your VCR, and how much you want to spend on the card.

Happy hunting and please post any info you find for others wondering the same thing :)
