    Holy crap theres only 4 mods in this board. Job well done, I would have though there 10 of you active in 2 hours shifts drinking coffee and taking speed. Isnt there over 1 million posts on this site?

    Well that's true most of the heavy lifting is by those 4 but lets not forget Ireland,herbsman,jannejt,chopper,vurbal,...etc.I even saw lethal_b ban a guy promoting his porn site a few weeks back on my behalf.I consider those guys part time mods.

    The only ones I see ban people is ddp and neph with the exception of spammers.Thank god they do ban them too.

    yeah i was only joking about only us 4 posting :)

    i'm still not as active as i might be in the console areas as it just plain annoys the hell out of me having to spend my own time reading thru so many banal replies; that's time i like to spend contributing to people who actually need (and appreciate) help. Case in point, i'm back home very late tonight, not much of my free time left before i'm up for work at 5am (no joke) and i'm trying to help this guy here who's 60 - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/382807/2304881

    far more satisfying, not just for me but for a valid poster instead of some kids who can't be bothered to help themselves before asking questions or more importantly posting nothing but crap comments/flames/etc just because they're bored and their parents didn't bring them up with manners or respect <end rant!>

    Wow good job man keep up the good work.I agree I would much rather help that guy then the console kiddies LOL.Yeah I never forget you guys have lives outside of aD and don't feel bad I have people like "where were you tycobb I've been waiting all night" etc.

    I don't live here lol I just try my best.I expect nothing more from the mods or anyone else.You all do a great job but we'd be kidding ourselves if we were to say the others are more active than you,neph,darth,ddp,and ireland but that's ok it's like that on any forum.

    I still think someone has to do the console forum or it will turn into what it has recently.

    Where were you tycobb I've been waiting all night. JK (just kidding)

    Anyways the console forums seem's to be not as bad anymore I havent really seen anything horrible happen their in a week so far (Or maby there is somthing I missed oh and I only really go on the ps2/ps3 forums that are for consoles.)

    I think I did exactly as I was instructed by DRD and the mods.I'm not perfect but I got the job done and hopefully set an example to the rest of the forum.

    As you can see I had lot's of support from my peers.Had I wanted to smash the guy I could have.

    Damn how could I miss that. I usally never miss a banning on the consol forums. But what can you do some people want the forum consoles to go other's want them to stay. But I think they should stay. But once again it's usally new members that get banned not senior's and so on. Even though they somtimes do but not near as much.

    Entering the thread late, I'm not a frequent user of game forums and I'll tell you why. After putting up with the situation long enough to figure out the hardware and software to purchase for my old PS2 I became fed up and a year later my clear flip-top case and swap magic disc remain untouched.
    I learn so much on the DVD backup, Nero, and PC hardware sections I could really care less.
    Hopefully this will spark my interest to accomplish that original task.

    FOR THE MODS,

    Here is an idea, we all know as AD members (new and old) that we all come here to escape for awhile and/or get some good advice or just to shoot the sh!t. But every once in a while people need to vent, so why not dedicate a thread to people who want to vent through a post. In this thread there could be a disclaimer that what goes on in the thread stays in the thread and if it comes out punishment will be administered. Some people are asking for flamers to be sorted out, well thats not going to happen realistically, but they could be redirected. The reason I came here is because at Gamepro you could not say anything without being bashed, but lets face it, we now have immature 12 year olds in forums. If you find this interesting I could help write up some rules if you want. Thanks.

    no need to get rid of the Console board,as the mods are armed and ready to clean out the Console boards..
