Could anyone please explain what is auto roll, I've seen it mentioned lots of times here and other places, but I don't know what it is.Just curious.

I need help please, I have n*l with starview and it works perfectly, but in my neighbours house the starview just picks up the movies and sports but none of the normal channels ie bbc. the only difference is that my neighbour got the aerial and converter installed but no n*l box, ie no subscription, i have tried all the codes, swapped boxes ( genuine ) but no good, i know its not cho&us because it wont pick up movies on the cho*us scan, is there anyway of getting around this?

 

All it means is when the codes chnge the box de-codes them itself.

Hi scOuser, I was hoping you could help me with a problem Im having regarding Jtagging an old clone box. Im not sure what the vcc cable is or were it goes. I know one end of the cable is soldered to the bottom of c40 on the circuit board but were does the other end go. I've read lots of tutorials and threads but cant find the answer. I'd appreciate it if you could help me out.

EPG guide was never great on the SV. Turn auto on and Sunmmertime off. GMT to +1.00 it may help.
